Learners will engage in a programme of professional study, facilitated by TT Education, multi-award winning School Improvement Provider of the Year. Learners will gain valuable knowledge, skills and understanding of how to create long-lasting sustainable school improvement, as well as being equipped to transform their short-term practice and begin to make immediate impact in their role and across a wider Trust or collective of schools. This flexible programme can be tailored around learners lives, with up to 24 months to complete the programme.

Learners on the programme will:

  • Increase their knowledge and understanding of what effective school improvement practitioners need to know (knowledge), and to be able to do (skills and behaviours), to successfully lead the strategic development and improvement within a Trust and its constituent schools or within single school.

  • Explore and understand what effective practice in education constitutes and how to develop strategic actions to implement change within a range of schools, considering contextualised and sector factors.

  • Draw on the latest research and evidence-based practice to deepen their knowledge base and apply their knowledge and skills to bring out transformational change.

  • Learn how to influence and impact across multiple schools.

  • Support learners to be able to analyse, critically evaluate issues and practices within schools and Trusts.

  • Cultivate their own leadership styles, behaviours and approaches to provide effective school improvement support.

  • Learn how to lead, inspire, motivate and empower education professionals to drive sustainable change and gain successful outcomes.

  • Be able to cultivate and create inclusive learning and working environments and relationships.

  • Be able to personalise qualification evidence and learning to your own working environment, to maintain energy, focus and relevance and begin to have immediate impact.
